Virtual Riders and Teams

For those living outside the New York Tri-State area, we offer the opportunity to join our virtual ride! It features many of the best parts of Wall Street Rides FAR while providing an inclusive and fun alternative way for riders from across the globe to participate.

 

Becoming a virtual rider is easy. Simply register as a virtual rider—there’s no registration fee to sign up—and choose the ride that’s right for you. We suggest that you choose the same challenge you would do if you were with us in person, whether that’s a metric century (62-mile ride) a 12-mile ride with your family, a 5K walk through a local park, or something in between. Join our Strava club and if you ride with Peloton, add the hashtag #WallStreetRidesFAR to your profile and you can convert your individual activity into a group experience! Whatever you do, make it part of the fundraising appeal so your friends and family know how committed you are to the Autism Science Foundation’s mission.

If you’re part of a virtual team, we encourage you to gather together (socially distanced, of course) with your team and others in your city at an agreed-upon starting point. On September 30, we’ll livestream the opening ceremony on Zoom and Facebook Live so you and your team can take part along with us. Throughout the physical ride we’ll be checking in with our virtual participants from various points on the ride, particularly from the Oases, so you won’t miss a thing. In the afternoon, tune back in for our awards ceremony. This year, we’re including awards for top virtual riders and teams, so you’ll be part of the action.

 

In addition, we’ll mail you our exclusive “Virtual Oasis-in-a-Box,” an Oasis theme box packed with goodies that will bring the Ride to your doorstep in time for the live event! Just like physical riders, we’ll send you your official Wall Street Rides FAR shirt, your rider number and event bottle, plus an Oasis “theme” item and even a snack!

 

How do you qualify for all this fun? It’s simple! All you have to do after you register is raise $500 or more by September 15, 2023 (or qualify through your corporate sponsor team) and you’ll earn the passkey into all our virtual activities!

Virtual Riders on Teams

As a virtual rider, you’re welcome to join an existing physical rider team and be part of the team fundraising. You can also form your own, all-virtual rider team or just sign up as an individual, virtual rider. The choice is yours! Check out our Team page to learn more about our team program.
